The MIP collaborations consist of initiation workshops, Collaborative Research and Development Teams (CoRDs), Regional Workshops, and Mentoring opportunities.
Initiation Workshops
The MIP announces the following five Initiation Workshops with mathematics faculty from institutions across the state of Oklahoma:
- Academic Success Skills: May 20 – 24, 2019
- Functions and Modeling: June 24 – 28, 2019
- College Algebra and Precalculus: August 5-9, 2019
- Quantitative Reasoning: May 17 – 28, 2021
- Calculus 1: August 2 – 13, 2021
Collaborative Research and Development Teams (CoRDs)
CoRDs for each focus area will be established after the corresponding Initiation Workshop on that topic and based on the priorities determined in the workshops. View Requests for Proposals for MIP CoRDs.
Regional Workshops
Regional Workshops will be held after materials from the CoRDs have been developed, reviewed, revised, and published. Details for the first opportunities to participate in Regional Workshops will be available in Fall 2021.
Mentoring
Mentoring opportunities will be available to support implementation of instructional materials developed by the CoRDs and disseminated through the regional workshops. Details for the first mentoring opportunities will be available in the 2021-2022 academic year.
